Alisha was born in Tanzania and moved to Canada when she was four years old. She received her Bachelor of Commerce from Seneca College in 2019 and has completed the Canadian Securities Course.
Alisha has been in the industry for five years and takes pride in serving clients. She joined Evans Investment Counsel in 2023 after working at both Heathbridge Capital and Glusken Sheff.
Outside of work, Alisha enjoys eating out at restaurants, in particular Mediterranean, or exploring new hobbies with her husband. Her latest hobby additions include archery, skiing, and canoeing. She also enjoys spending time with her newly adopted kitten Biscuit and loves to bake cookies.
Moren joined Evans in 2016, bringing over 11 years of financial service experience. Moren works closely with the portfolio managers to ensure that our clients receive excellent service with every interaction.
Moren shares the responsibility for opening new accounts, reconciling client trades, payment processing and coordinating with accountants and our custodian’s back office.
Moren has a passion for community service and outside of work she dedicates much of her free time to volunteering, having spent eight years with United Way, three years with Habitat for Humanity and approximately one year with Meals on Wheels. She also spends time volunteering at her daughters’ school and at other community events. A mother of two girls, Moren loves spending time in the kitchen with them, keeping busy and trying new recipes.
With over 18 years of experience, Patrycja has been providing exceptional client service to the firm’s clients since she joined Evans in 2017. Previously, she provided operational support in an administrative role in the financial industry.
Patrycja adores travel as a way of experiencing new places and trying new food. She is also an avid hiker, snorkeler and snowboarder, and when all that has exhausted her, she enjoys reading to relax. We also can’t forget live music and concerts, something Patrycja loves to attend.
Miriam is an integral member of our team. She joined the firm in 2007 as a Senior Client Service Associate and has since built a reputation for providing excellent client service. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and having completed the Canadian Securities Course with CSI Global Education, Miriam has learned what matters most to our clients and their families. This knowledge allows her to provide fast and efficient service whenever clients need it.
A native of Ecuador, Miriam moved to Canada when she was four years old. A diehard fan of Aruba, she travels there regularly with her husband and daughter and dreams of making that her snowbird destination when she retires. She adores pasta (and carbs!) and would eat it at every meal, but there will always be a special place in her heart for the staple Ecuadorian meals of rice, chicken and eggs on which her mother raised her. Thanks, Mom.
