Heidi Gu

Heidi joined Evans Investment Counsel in 2025, following her role at Scotia Capital. She is a member of the Operations and finance team and brings over 10 years of experience in accounting and capital markets.

In her role, Heidi supports the firm’s day-to-day operations with a core focus on process automation and enhancing efficiency across internal workflows. Leveraging her strong proficiency in VBA, she streamlines reconciliation processes and reduces manual work through well-designed automation solutions. She also contributes to a wide range of operational initiatives, technology implementations, and data-quality improvements.

Heidi graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a major in Finance and is currently a CFA Level III candidate.

Outside of work, Heidi enjoys cooking, hiking, and trail running with friends.
