Nico Cape BA, MBA

Nico joined Evans Investment Counsel in 2012 following stints at two wealth management firms—where he constructed client portfolios from his considerable knowledge of US, Canadian, and global securities—and two investment banks, Merrill Lynch in Toronto and J.P. Morgan in New York City. With a BA from Princeton University and a MBA in Finance from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, Nico’s in-depth research on global securities assists the team in finding investment opportunities that could bring clients superior returns.

Nico was born in Hamilton and now that he has settled in Toronto he enjoys watching and cheering for the Raptors, Leafs, and Blue Jays, playing tennis and golf, and supporting his three boys as they grow and flourish. He is a card-carrying vegetarian but occasionally pops into Burger King again now that they have the Impossible Whopper.
